“As a community we all experienced the same thing, so we were all a bit traumatized, We didn’t know Aiden here, but the community remembers the accident. We bought the bench as a memorial where Aiden’s family can come and recognize it as part of a memorial but also for us as a place to remember him, hopefully people slowdown in the neighborhood,” said a neighbor who lives right next to the memorial who wished to remain anonymous.
The community calls it one of the most traumatic nights and the memorial was built to keep Casey’s memory alive as well as to serve as a place for his family and others to stop by and reflect.
Recently, a piece of the memorial has been missing.
