Irondequoit Police hosting food drive, community meet and greet Friday

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — The Irondequoit Police Department is inviting residents to the town hall campus Friday evening to help neighbors in need.

Residents are encouraged to pack a backpack of non-perishable food to bring to the Irondequoit Police Department for the third annual Cops for the Community Cupboard food donation drive event. Police Chief Scott Peters and crew will be collecting food for the Irondequoit Community Cupboard. Some members of the police department will be there to give families a chance to meet the men and women behind the badge.
