Wilmington Resident Charged with Insurance Fraud After Submitting False Medical Bills

Za’kira Zaleaya Price, 23, of Wilmington, North Carolina, was arrested on charges of insurance fraud and obtaining property by false pretense. Authorities say Price submitted false medical bills to Geico Insurance. This led to a payout of $2,341 for an automobile collision claim on June 13, 2025.
