HAMPSTEAD, N.C. (WECT) – A 15-year-old girl with a rare chromosome disorder received a complete room renovation Friday that her family says will change their lives.
Bridget Jenkins lives with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a condition diagnosed at birth that requires around-the-clock care. Her old room wasn’t meeting her current needs, but the non-profit Welcome Home Angel stepped in to help.
