Sunland Park Secures $719K Grant to Expand Casa de Peregrinos Food Pantry for Local Residents

The City of Sunland Park, New Mexico, has received a $719,338 grant from the state Department of Finance and Administration’s Capital Development Program Fund. The funds will be used to complete the Casa de Peregrinos Regional Food Pantry at 3465 McNutt Road. The project is a partnership between the city and Casa de Peregrinos, an emergency food provider in the area.

The new pantry will be fully ADA-compliant. It will serve as a central location for food distribution, offering both indoor and drive-through services.
