WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – One Wichita animal rescue group is making sure pets stay fed during the government shutdown.
Beauties and Beasts is giving out dog and cat food to those in need. On Thursday, they donated around 50 bags.
The vice president of the rescue, Randi Carter, says they are doing what they can to fill the gap.
