MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Voters in Meridian on Tuesday approved a public safety levy proposed by the city. The levy required over 60% to pass and results show 66% in favor.
The levy in question saw the City of Meridian asking for approval to add $5,018,125.71 to annual revenue, at a cost to homeowners of roughly $20.11 per $100,000 of assessed property value per year.
