SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake Film Society announced it has plans to renovate the nearly 100-year old Tower Theatre.
The Tower Theatre was built in 1928 but closed 5-years ago. Now The Salt Lake Film Society has presented preliminary drawings to the Salt Lake City Building Services to re-imagine the space.
The Society says the goal is for the Tower Theatre to serve as a community-based, mission-driven anchor for the 9th & 9th neighborhood.
