Eugene’s city engineer has retired after 20 years with the city, a Public Works department spokesperson confirmed Thursday.
Jenifer Willer had been city engineer since 2022. In the role, she oversaw engineering within Eugene Public Works — one of five divisions within the city’s largest department. She managed more than 90 full-time equivalent positions and a division operating budget of about $41 million.
Engineering Division Communications Coordinator Willow Hamilton told Lookout Eugene-Springfield that Willer announced her departure in May, and her last day was Oct. 31. She retired, Hamilton said.
