Family honors Las Vegas woman killed in domestic violence shooting

Nearly a month after a mother of five and grandmother of 13 was shot and killed by her partner, her family is paying tribute to her life and inviting the community to see her business that opened less than two weeks before her murder.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said 53-year-old Tia Jurado died after her partner, Christopher Ford, 53, opened fire in their home on the 1600 block of Burningwood Lane during an argument on October 12.
