BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Firefighters with the Bakersfield Fire Department extinguished a fire on Oak Street Thursday night.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of Oak Street Thursday around 6 p.m. for a fire, according to the fire department.
There was heavy smoke in a room on the second floor, according to officials. Rooms were evacuated.
