Niagara County Law Enforcement Makes 34 Arrests This Week

Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting people accused of crimes. Niagara County comprises several cities, towns, and villages, including the City of Lockport, the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Lewiston, the Town of Lockport, the Town of Wheatfield, and the Village of Youngstown.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office shared a resource on its Facebook page for residents to stay alert about sex offenders in their area. Niagara County Man Charged With Father’s Death

A Niagara County man was arrested and charged with the death of his father. Initially, police believed William Wilson Sr., the father of 37-year-old William Wilson III, had died of natural causes. But now, police believe that Wilson III killed his father. He is facing one count of 1st degree and one count of 2nd degree manslaughter. According to Niagara Action, he pleaded not guilty during his arraignment. Wilson III is being held without bail. His father, Wilson Sr., was a retired Niagara Falls Department of Public Works employee, who was a leader in protests about discrimination and unsafe labor conditions in the department.
