The NAACP Charlotte-Mecklenburg Branch awarded Police Chief Johnny Jennings a Lifetime Achievement Award at its Annual Freedom Fund Banquet Saturday.
“This honor is a reflection of the incredible people I have worked beside throughout my career and the community that inspires me every day,” Jennings wrote on X.
