DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Helping Hoosiers have food on the table. Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry, a nonprofit organization that unites many other organizations across the state to provide meat to Hoosier families in need.
Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry was established in 2011 in DeKalb County. From farm and field to freezer to fork, they provide processed meat to local food banks and pantries, helping distribute the meat to Hoosiers in need.
“With a mission that takes donations of livestock, deer and funds to provide processed meat to nonprofit agencies, soup kitchens and those organizations that provide meals to communities in need all over the state of Indiana,” said Suzie Jordan, Executive Director, Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry.”…
