Shut down Naples Airport

The government shutdown has forced the FAA to order a 10% reduction in flights at 40 of the nation’s busiest airports, citing shortages of air traffic controllers. This has canceled over 500 flights today alone, crippling commercial travel for the public.

But administration insiders and the upper classes travel unaffected. They depart by private jet from Naples Airport (APF) — one of the busiest private aviation hubs in the nation — which will not be affected by these cuts.

This is an outrage. For most of their trips, these private jets operate in the same commercial airspace and utilize the same strained, understaffed FAA resources as the grounded airliners…
