SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Mild and humid conditions continue for the next 24 hours, with isolated storms possible ahead of a big chill for the new week.
Passing showers and a few storms took place for portions of Saturday. One storm in our southwestern counties was capable of 40 mph winds and small hail, but most of the area just received passing showers.
Showers and Storms Possible
Expect another mild and muggy one Saturday night as temperatures dip into the 60s. There will be a 20% or so chance of passing showers.
Sunday will be the last warm day ahead of a strong cold front. Breezy conditions are expected for most of the day, with winds gusting upwards of 20-25 mph. Isolated showers and storms are also expected, with a storm or two capable of becoming strong to severe. Stronger cells may bring straight-line wind gusts in excess of 40 mph along with small hail.

Rain chances are out of the picture by Sunday night and our attention will shift to the cold temperatures. Monday will start off chilly and breezy, with low temperatures in the 40s and wind chills in the 30s.
