The Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Culture Department (PARC) will hold its first PARCsGiving event in 2025. The event is intended to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in Lafayette Parish. Organizers plan to collect at least 100 meal baskets for local families in need. Donations will be accepted through November 20. Community members can donate non-perishable items, including turkey vouchers, rice, canned vegetables, desserts, and handwritten notes.
Donations can be dropped off at Lafayette City Hall, Girard Park Recreation Center, or any local recreation center during designated hours.
