Chris Daniels Appointed as Oklahoma City’s New General Services Director

Oklahoma City is set to welcome Chris Daniels as the new head honcho of the General Services Department. City Manager Craig Freeman announced Daniels’ appointment, taking the reins from longtime director Paul Bronson, who’s punching out after 38 years of service.

Daniels will begin transitioning into his new role on November 14 and will assume full responsibilities after Bronson retires on January 1, 2026. According to the City of Oklahoma City, Freeman highlighted Daniels’ skills and accomplishments in a statement.

“Chris is a results-driven manager and excels at building a work environment where employees feel valued and appreciated,” Freeman was quoted as saying. The new gig has Daniels overseeing a crew of 77 across three divisions – you’ve got Administration, Fleet Services, and Building Maintenance.
