ROCKTON, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockton tradition honoring veterans continues this week as the Old Stone Church prepares to host its annual Veterans Day Turkey Dinner on Saturday, November 8.
The church has sponsored the dinner since the end of World War II as a way to honor veterans and bring the community together.
The cost is $16 for the sit-down dinner and $14 for a carryout dinner, with a $13 carryout price for orders of five or more. The dinner will be at 101 East Union St. in Rockton and will start at 6 p.m…
