WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which provides gifts to lower-income children and seniors, is now accepting applications for Christmas assistance in the Wichita area.
The program, which serves about 8,000 children and over 500 seniors each year, is open for applications until Nov. 14. Families in need can apply online or by calling 316-425-6123.
Operation Holiday returns for another season
Starting later this month, Angel Trees will be at Walmart locations and Towne East Mall for community members to select a recipient, called an “angel,” and purchase gifts.
