TULSA, Okla. — YWCA Tulsa announced a new program that will expand its current refugee housing services to include people who are unhoused.
YWCA Tulsa said it has mobilized board members, donors, team members and the community to meet the city’s most pressing needs for nearly 100 years.
The organization said recently, its mission led it to respond to one of Tulsa’s largest resettlement efforts, welcoming more than 850 Afghan refugees fleeing the Taliban.
