Wichitans help battle food insecurity by volunteering

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – With SNAP benefits continuing to bring a layer of uncertainty to many Kansas families, more locals are trying to help those looking for their next meal. On Saturday, multiple organizations were working to provide meals to the hungry.

At Risen Savior Lutheran Church, dozens of volunteers came to scoop, weigh, and package meals.
