RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On Friday, Nov. 7, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport reported at least 12 cancellations, 9% of total commercial flights, and several delays tied to the nationwide slowdown, according to a Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority news release.
On its first day, the Reno airport felt the ripple effect following a directive from the Federal Aviation Administration requiring the country’s 40 largest airports to reduce flight schedules by 10%, the release said.
