On November 7, 2025, Miami Dade College (MDC) announced the recipients of its 2025 Endowed Teaching Chairs. Seven professors were recognized at a ceremony on November 6 for their work in teaching and supporting students. The program, started in 1992, has honored more than 300 faculty members.
The Endowed Teaching Chairs program allows faculty to be nominated and selected by their peers. Each recipient receives a $7,500 annual stipend for three years. The funds support professional development, research, and new teaching tools. The program is funded by individuals, corporations, and organizations through the Miami Dade College Foundation.
