(FOX40.com) — More than 5.5 million Californians rely on CalFresh benefits to put food on the table. Approximately 270,000 people in Sacramento County are CalFresh recipients.
As the longest government shutdown in history continues, many have been left wondering when and if they will see benefits in November. As of Friday morning, benefits started being distributed to CalFresh recipients in Sacramento County.
