MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A homicide investigation is underway in Montgomery County after a man was fatally shot late Saturday night.
The Montgomery County Department of Police said officers responded to the shooting shortly after 11 p.m. near Germantown and Middlebrook roads.

The man, who police have not yet identified, died at the scene. Police noted that one suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting; however, it is unclear if the two knew each other.
