Chicago police are warning rideshare and food delivery drivers to be on alert in parts of North Lawndale after investigators determined a robbery crew has been targeting them in a series of holdups and carjackings over the past three weeks.
According to a community alert from CPD, the same group of robbers is believed responsible for at least five incidents since mid-October, often using rideshare or delivery apps to lure drivers into traps.
