AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Foodee festival is back in town this weekend at the Georgia-Carolina Fairgrounds.
The event features more than 80 food trucks along with other vendors. There are also crafts and spaces for kids to play.
Days after opening sign-ups for emergency rental and utility assistance, Augusta-Richmond County suspended applications.
“Augusta quite literally was one of the first ones that we’ve actually like done when we were starting up,” said Mackayla Morgan, content coordinator for Foodee Fest. “We usually are in the downtown area, so we’re in a different location than usual because of work getting done, but the people still know where to come. They know to come to the Georgia-Carolina Fairgrounds and they’re going to show out.”…
