Overnight shooting on Monumental Marathon route
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis police report shows gunfire damaged four buildings and three vehicles in the early morning hours Saturday.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says its special event team was patrolling the South Meridian Street area when shots rang out about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Officers found evidence of the shooting at the intersection of South Meridian and Washington streets, which is south of Monument Circle and a block east of the Artsgarden.
No injuries were reported although people were in the area…
