With another school year well under way, I am once again in awe of the amazing work that is being done by teachers, counselors, paraprofessionals, and other educators and staff in Toledo Public Schools.
As feelings of loneliness, isolation, and division are on the rise, traditional public schools fill an increasingly vital role in our society. Unlike charter schools and private schools where rejection of students is allowed, TPS provides admittance to all students in the service of a common goal, setting Toledo kids up for success.
