GREEN BAY, Wis. – Frosted lawns and quiet flurries mark the start of a colder pattern sweeping across northeast Wisconsin as light snow and brisk winds build through Sunday and Monday. It’s not a major storm, but it’s a clear signal that winter has arrived for the Badger State.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, scattered snow showers are expected to develop Sunday morning as colder air filters in from the north. Any accumulation will stay under an inch, but the combination of light flakes, damp roads, and temperatures near freezing could make early travel slick—especially along I-41 and U.S. 141 north of Appleton.
