LUBBOCK, Texas — Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas announces a Shred Day on November 14, to celebrate National Recycling Day from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Lubbock National Bank. Hosted by Lubbock National Bank, community members are welcome to bring up to 4 boxes of personal documents that are needed to be disposed of.
When bringing your personal documents, papers or folders, there is a free service at the event to remove staples and paperclips. With every box of paper sent to Goodwill for secure shredding services, the amount of waste in landfills decrease and creation of jobs for those with barriers to employment increase.
