Lubbock ISD Culinary Arts, Floral Design Students Compete for $1K Prize at Annual Holiday Expo

It’s all on the line this weekend for teams of Lubbock Independent School District (Lubbock ISD) students: a $1,000 prize, custom chef coats and floral aprons, and, of course, area bragging rights for the next year.

On Sunday (Nov. 9), culinary arts students from the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and floral design students from the AgriSTEM Complex will compete against students from other local districts as part of the United Family’s annual Entertaining Made Easy Expo.

The event will take place from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. at the three Market Street locations in Lubbock located at 4425 19th St. (19th Street & Quaker Avenue), 4205 98th St. (98th Street & Quaker) and 3405 50th St. (50th Street & Indiana)…
