KENNER, La. — Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed that 13 people are in custody following a multi-agency raid at the Kenner boat launch in the Lake Town area Friday night.
According to a statement by ICE, all 13 detainees are undocumented and in violation of immigration policies. Officials said one person in custody had previously been ordered removed by an immigration judge, and another had already been deported once before.
