BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC — Bev’s Steak is preparing to open at 117 Cherry Street Suite C, Black Mountain, NC 28711, with soft openings planned the weekend before Thanksgiving and a fuller launch the first week of December, co-owner Ali Whitman told Business Debut. The restaurant is led by Chef Jake Whitman and his wife, Ali Whitman.
What to Expect
The basement space of a circa-1914 building features exposed original brick and a dark, moody palette. Guests can enter via a stairway from Cherry Street or an accessible side entry with double doors.
Indoor seating is targeting about 50, with an outdoor patio dining slated to debut in the upcoming spring. Expect steakhouse à la carte service with an approachable tone. “It’s a very creative take on a steakhouse,” Ali Whitman told Business Debut, noting small plates for sharing alongside classic steaks.
