Grace Project hosts Vet Bash fundraiser Sunday

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — A local nonprofit is helping homeless veterans and families get a second chance — and they’re inviting the community to join their mission.

The Grace Project Homes provides housing for veterans and unhoused families by refurbishing or building homes for those in need. Chairperson Linda McManus and Senior Director Crystal Butler say the goal is long-term stability and homeownership.

To support that effort, the group is hosting its Vet Bash — a pre–Veterans Day celebration featuring food, live music, and giveaways — Sunday, November 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Old McDonald Fish Camp in North Augusta.
