Waynesboro man sentenced to prison for shooting at carload of people

A Waynesboro man who earlier this year opened fire on a carload of people, including a woman he’d been in a relationship with, pleaded guilty to three felony charges last week and received an eight-year prison sentence.

James J. Williams II, 26, pleaded guilty on Nov. 5 in Waynesboro Circuit Court to charges of maliciously shooting at a vehicle, felony eluding and possession of a gun by a convicted non-violent felon.
