GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A woman is dead and four people are in the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Gastonia Sunday night.
The Gastonia Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a crash at Gaston Day School Road and Hoffman Road around 7:05 p.m. Sunday night.
Police say a 19-year-old Gastonia man was driving a black Cadillac sedan southbound on Gaston Day School Road at a high speed when he lost control, crossed into opposing traffic and hit another vehicle head-on. The 19-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries…
