Juvenile and 19-year-old arrested after stolen gun discovered in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A juvenile and a 19-year-old were arrested Saturday after police discovered two weapons including a stolen firearm during a traffic stop, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Omarion Washington, who is 19-years-old was charged with possession of stolen goods and the juvenile was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.

The report from officers states that while patrolling in the area of Dorchester Road at approximately 7 p.m., they identified a vehicle backed into a parking space at Big Daddy Deals, surrounded by several individuals. Later on, after the vehicle reportedly made an improper turn and used multiple lighting devices, officers initiated a traffic stop.
