Driver Falls Asleep at Wheel, Injured in I-80 Crash in Union Township

UNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A New Bethlehem man was injured after state police say he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed early Thursday morning on Interstate 80.

According to DuBois-based State Police, the one-vehicle crash occurred around 5:54 a.m. on November 6.

Police say 19-year-old Levi G. Neiswonger, of New Bethlehem, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound on I-80 in Union Township, Jefferson County. He was traveling in the right lane when he fell asleep, according to police…
