Outrage Erupts After ICE Agent Pulls Gun on Woman During Encounter

A shocking confrontation in Santa Ana sparked outrage Sunday after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent was captured on video pulling a firearm on a woman during a roadside encounter. The Fullerton Police Department, whose officer arrived at the scene, has publicly denied assisting the armed agent, stating that no crime had occurred and the officer only intervened to ensure safety.

Midday Incident in Santa Ana

According to Fullerton Police, the incident unfolded around 12:18 p.m. near Santa Ana Boulevard and Shelton Street. A Fullerton officer, returning from Orange County Jail after an inmate drop-off, witnessed a man exit his vehicle while pointing a firearm at a female driver behind him. Police said the officer immediately stopped to intervene, unaware of the man’s identity or the circumstances leading to the standoff.

ICE Agent Identifies Himself

Authorities said the armed individual identified himself as an ICE agent and showed his credentials.
