KALAMAZOO, MI – A Michigan woman’s video showing yellow, murky tap water running straight from her faucet has left millions online disturbed and angry — once again raising questions about the country’s failing infrastructure and water safety.
‘It Looks Like Pee or Apple Juice’
The viral TikTok, posted by a Kalamazoo woman, shows her filling a glass of what’s supposed to be “standard drinking water” for her family. But instead of clear water, the glass quickly fills with a dark yellow liquid that looks anything but safe.
“This is what’s coming out of my tap,” she says, holding up the glass for viewers to see. “They always tell us to let it run for a bit and it’ll clear up — but it’s not clearing up.”
At one point, she compares the color of the water to urine or apple juice, adding that the situation has only gotten worse over time. “Now it looks worse than when we first moved here,” she explains in disbelief. “How am I supposed to cook for my family with this?”…
