The Church of God in Christ is turning to The Pyramid arena to accommodate thousands of “saints” in town for the church’s 93rd Holy Convocation. The convention is expected to draw an unusually high number of participants this year as the 5.5 million-member denomination, headquartered in Memphis, elects its new leaders.
