Vietnam Veteran receives Quilt of Honor ahead of Marietta parade

MARIETTA — Ahead of the Marietta Veterans Day parade Saturday, Vietnam veteran Victor Katsumi Higgins received a Quilt of Valor sewn by his daughter in recognition of his service.

Family, friends and veterans gathered around Higgins’ parade float to surprise him with the quilt.
