MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Coast Guard is looking for answers after learning about a derelict sailboat on Mobile Bay over the weekend, according to a U.S. Coast Guard Sector Mobile Facebook post.
Fire destroys Wilmer home Sunday morning
According to the post, the boat was found on the south end of Gaillard Island in Mobile Bay. The vessel, named the Kirsten, is white and 34 feet long.
The Coast Guard is investigating how the boat ended up there and is asking for the public’s help.
