BALTIMORE, MD—If your morning commute feels like it’s taking longer and longer, a new study confirms you’re not imagining it. Maryland has been ranked as the state with the second-longest average travel time to work in the entire United States.
The research, conducted by global executive search firm Keller, analyzed U.S. Census Bureau data from 2021 through 2023 to determine where workers face the greatest daily commuting burden.
