WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — On Saturday, Cape Fear Community College will conduct an active shooter simulation in conjunction with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
The exercise will take place at CFCC’s downtown campus from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. causing road closures to ensure safety. Front Street will be closed from Walnut Street to Hanover Street, and Red Cross Street will be closed from Water Street to 2nd Street.
Training activities will take place in CFCC’s N, A, S, Union Station, and the Dan & Sheila Saklad Health and Human Services buildings.
