Mediation between a South Toledo drummer and his upset neighbors was unsuccessful, a judge said, and the case will continue with a visiting judge.
Neither party appeared in Toledo Municipal Court on Monday morning, but Judge William Connelly, Jr., said it was his understanding that mediation between Patrick Chaney, neighbors Shaun and Angela Enright, and the Toledo Prosecutor’s Office was unsuccessful.
Judge Connelly ordered the appointment of a visiting judge “to prevent the appearance of impropriety” — a decision upon which he did not elaborate — and continued the case for an attorney-only review next month…
