Long Beach police are looking for a man who’s accused of killing a little girl and her father while they were sleeping. 26-year-old Octavio Montano Islas is accused of crashing his truck into the apartment of 42-year-old Jose Palacios-Gonzalez, and his three-year-old daughter, Samantha. It happened in March of 2022. Jose was pronounced dead at the scene, while Samantha died later from her injuries at the hospital. Detectives say they believe Islas was drunk at the time of the crash.
