HARTSELLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Hartselle man was arrested on 20 forgery and fraud-related charges stemming from incidents that happened two years ago.
Marcus Wallace was indicted on theft of property and possession of a forged instrument charges last week, according to WAFF 48 News partners, the Decatur Daily.
The indictment alleges he used fake checks to deceive Redstone Federal Credit Union officials and other financial institutions in order to steal thousands of dollars.
Wallace has a lengthy criminal history; he has been convicted of robbery and drug charges within the past 10 years…
